Jillian is a California native and has lived in Orange County since she was a teenager attending San Clemente High School. She has watched the area grow from a sleepy suburb of LA to The OC.

Jillian received both her BA and her Masters from UC Irvine in a five year program that awarded both degrees. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the South Pacific.

She was a professional ballet dancer in her youth with the world-renown Ballet Pacifica and has directed plays in Orange County for over twenty years.

An independent ballroom dance instructor and a theatrical director, Jillian not only teaches American Smooth and Rhythm but also acting, scene study, playwriting and cold reading skills to actors as well as professional ballroom & Latin partnerships.

Waltz, Foxtrot, American & Argentine Tango, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Mambo & Salsa, Cha-Cha, Swing, Night Club 2-Step, Country Western, Social & Competition Dancing, Renaissance & American Civil War Dancing, Wedding Dance, Father Daughter and Debutante Choreography.

Jillian is a yearly dues paying member of the following organizations: Pi Beta Phi fraternity, the National Dance Council of America and the Orange County Association of Bridal Consultants.

An entrepreneur since graduating from graduate school, Jillian owns and operates both her business in ballroom dance, Our Wedding Dance and web design, Anteater Web Design.

She has coached with many champion competitors and instructors. Among them: Michael Mead and Toni Redpath; American Smooth, Igor and Irina Suvorov; Standard, Nadia Eftedal; Latin & Rhythm and Brian & Kristi McDonald; Standard.

Jillian has made appearances on The History Channel, in the movie, America's Sweethearts and in NatGeo's "Party Like" series to air this February 2012. She is available for ballroom and theatrical direction and choreography for plays, movies, and television as well as appearances with her partners in exhibitions and showcases.
